As a result of genocide going on two centuries against Azerbaijan, many people were killed and hundreds of settlements were destroyed. Thousands people were driven out of their native country as a result of aggression and genocide leaded by Armenians against Azerbaijanian. As Armenians had not their own state in IV - XIX centuries, they wanted to create “Great Armenia” by means of genocide politics. And at the same time they had used for this purpose Russian Imperial’s politics. All tragedies of Azerbaijan existing in XIX-XX centuries were completed with the occupation of native land. It was Armenian’s considered plan against Azerbaijan. They realized their genocide after some stages: 1. 1813-1828 2. 1905-1906 3. 1918-1920 4. 1948-1953 5. 1988 6. 1992 It seems that, Armenians had used all possible methods ignoring international norms of rights, to achieve their chauvinist aims. Using these methods Armenians continued to enlarge their land according to neighbours’. At the same time they wanted to drive out azerbaijanies from area of the Armenia SSR, where they had lived for centures. There had striven to value only bloodshed in 1918 March from all events. As legacy of Azerbaijan People Cumhuriyyet, Azerabijan Republic accepts to value genocide events from politics side as the order of history. The tragedy of 31 March is a historical bloodstain. This bloodstain, This tragedy caused to show the enemies true personality. The striking view of this bloody tragedy just consists of emperorship’s falling. First of all, our main duty is to describe bloodstain on our history and never repeat it. The National Renaissance will be grave and death of Moslem and Turkish enemies. On 26 March 1998 the President of Azerbaijan Republic H. Aliyev gave command to remark 31 March as “Azerbaijanian’s genocide day”. On 28 March 2006 the President of Azerbaijan Republic I. Aliyev applied to Azerbaijan people on the occasion of “Azerbaijanian’s genocide day”. We again remember the victims of genocide sadly and respectfully, express our condolences to their family.
